Healthy feet, healthy body, healthy planet Founded in 1990 by husband and wife team Peter Kjellerup and Mandy Cabot, Dansko - which literally means "Danish shoe" - is an employee-owned business based in Pennsylvania. The inspiration for Dansko came from of a pair of clogs Mandy bought in Denmark that she fell in love with, but was unable to replace at home in the United States. Since the beginning, Dansko has prided itself on its history of green and ethical business practices, community involvement, and volunteerism.
